IRIS Global enables Partner to deliver LG Pocket Projectors for JEEVIKA Project

IRIS Global has recently enabled its partner M/s Graphic Trades P Ltd, to deliver a whopping Rs 15 Crore order of LG Pocket Projector for the Bihar Government’s World Bank aided Rural Women’s Livelihood Project (BRLP), locally known as Jeevika.

Jeevika, is a trust with focus for empowering rural India’s women. Supporting women’s livelihood is the key for building an affluent rural India. The women of rural India are the primary focus of the Jeevika Trust, which helps build the rural women of today and tomorrow.
The objective of buying these LG pocket projectors was to communicate and address large rural women folk communities. These projectors are easy to handle and carry. They do not need any power connection as they are equipped with chargeable Lithium batteries.

They can be used anywhere and can project content from a USB / Pen Drive on any flat surface, or thru wireless mirroring over android phones making these projectors a versatile training and information tool for Jeevika volunteers.

“We have known Iris for more than 10 years. For the Jeevika project we were worried about timely deliveries and that too in one lot, as staggered deliveries would have ruined the project revenues, as well. They were extremely sensitive to project requirements and this sensitivity was displayed by their senior management at all stages. Iris Global has played an exemplary role by extending themselves in completion of this project.” said Mr Dilip Gupta, Director, Graphic Trades P Ltd.

Talking to newsmen here today, Ms Kamini Talwar, Director, Iris Global said – “We value our relationship with Graphic Trades who were instrumental in obtaining this important order. In fact these LG projectors are compact and affordable. They can work in fields by projecting on a plain white cloth tied between two trees or on a wall. They can cater to a gathering of 30 women at a time. Even with its minimal projection criterion, the picture is throws is as big as 10 feet wide” she added.

This plan has mobilized 1.7 million women and plans to extend upto 12.5 Million households by 2022. The demand for these small projectors is bound to increase.
