What are the components going into it?

HPE has continued to scale HPE GreenLake to reach new market segments, new use cases, and leverage its world class partner ecosystem to accelerate growth. In 2019, HPE launched HPE GreenLake Central, an advanced software platform, which offers customers a consistent hybrid cloud experience for all their applications and data, through an operational console that runs, manages and optimizes their entire hybrid IT estate.

Last year, HPE launched HPE GreenLake cloud services which includes Container Management, Machine Learning Operations (ML Ops), VMs, storage, compute, Data Protection, and networking. All these help businesses transform and modernize their applications and data – most of which is on-premises, in colocation facilities, and increasingly at the edge.

Recently, HPE announced a series of innovation updates to the HPE GreenLake cloud services portfolio, and new capabilities and partnerships. All of these are designed to dramatically simplify the experience and expand the reach of the HPE GreenLake Cloud Services business.

What are the competitive advantage of HPE vis – a- vis others?

Today, businesses require an edge-to-cloud architecture and set of technology capabilities to bridge the digital and physical worlds. This will enable them to personalize experiences for customers, automate the workplace experience for employees, and ultimately deliver outcomes for their businesses. HPE is well positioned to meet these customer needs with an edge-to-cloud platform. Moreover, HPE delivers a unique approach by providing HPE GreenLake cloud services to customers in the environment of their choice – from edge to cloud – with a consistent operating model and with visibility and governance across all enterprise applications and data.

How does it help the customers in this time?

Across industries businesses of all sizes understand that a one-size-fits-all approach through public cloud does not work for the most of their applications and data, which must stay on-premises or at the edge. This could be due to several factors such as cost, compliance, control, governance, latency and performance, security, and application entanglement. HPE provides a unique approach to hybrid cloud through HPE GreenLake cloud services. This combines the agility and simplicity of the cloud with the governance and control of an on-premises environment.

Who are the major customer of HPE GreenLake?

There are many organizations across industries which have selected HPE GreenLake, these include Wibmo, a leading fintech company, and Assemblage Entertainment, a full-service 3D animation and visual effects studio.

What are its offerings for the partners?

Distribution partners are an important component of the HPE partner ecosystem. Through this segment, the HPE GreenLake Cloud Services business is growing rapidly. Building on this momentum, HPE is offering HPE GreenLake directly in the cloud marketplaces of several distributors, including ALSO Group, Arrow Electronics, Ingram Micro Inc., Synnex, and Tech Data. Globally, this enables over 100,000 partners to leverage HPE GreenLake through distributors, to deliver a cloud experience directly to their customers, through simple quoting, ordering, and invoicing of HPE GreenLake at pre-configured and pre-priced offers.
