Dropbox is a global collaboration platform where content is created, accessed, and shared. With more than 500 million registered users across 180 countries, Dropbox is available for Windows, Mac, or Linux PCs, as well as Android and iOS mobile devices.
Like other countries India has a good number of Dropbox users but its enterprise account growth is not that great. Marcus Low, Head of Asia Pacific & Japan – SMB and Channels, said, “We need to find working partner model with Ingram Micro to find more cloud partners in India.”
“We need to articulate the benefits of Dropbox. From the life cycle of content, Dropbox is very helpful. We will continue serving our customers through our product benefits,” he added. “We are in talk with our Ingram Micro as to how we can have a better pricing model for India market.”
In order to market Dropbox in India, the company is planning to work with Ingram Micro in some localized events too. In addition to this the company strongly believes digital marketing is going to create good mindshare about the solutions.
Finally, Macus concluded, “We would like to tap the vertical market where the content is being generated and worked in collaboration.”
