All-cash offer unanimously recommended by Gemalto’s Board of Directors and unanimously approved by Thales’s Board of Directors
French Aerospace and defense group Thales has agreed to buy Dutch cybersecurity provider Gemalto for 4 US$ 5.6 billion, outbidding the fellow French firm Atos to expand in the fast-growing digital security market.
