Microsoft Kaizala is aimed at enabling Indian organizations to be more productive
In an effort to tap into the huge market potential in India, Microsoft has launched an Indianized product Kaizala, which means What’s Up in Marathi. A mobile app that is believed to be equivalent of WhatsApp for the group business communication and collaboration, it helps within or outside of organizations communications. Microsoft India has also launched Kaizala Pro which is for the enterprise customers that allows organizations to have full administrative control of their groups.
Microsoft Kaizala will help to easily coordinate tasks across the value chain, and gain actionable insights. Microsoft Kaizala users can simply get connected using their mobile phone numbers as their primary unique ID. Microsoft Kaizala is powered by Microsoft Azure, Microsoft’s trusted cloud platform. The product is enterprise ready.
Till now the medium of instant communications has either been through one to one SMS service or WhatsApp, but with Microsoft Kaizala coming in, it is up to the business owners’ individual decision to change their habit. Of course, it will all depend upon how Microsoft markets this product and takes care of privacy and security if the individuals.

Microsoft Kaizala has been optimized for 2G networks to enable connectivity in remote locations and offers features with offline support.”

As per Microsoft, Indian organizations such as YES Bank, Apollo Telemedicine, Republic TV, United Phosphorous Limited and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, who are currently piloting the solution for their internal teams.
