Rashi Peripherals concludes Component Training Program to promote “Personalized Computer”

The flagship training program was aimed at providing latest updates on technological innovations and market dynamics in the Component segment to Champions. Over 55 Champions from across the regions well appreciated the two day training program for its quality sessions and execution

Aimed to provide the latest information on technological innovations in the Component business and encourage Champions to explore business potentials in the ‘Personalized PC’ segment in India, Rashi Peripherals has recently organized a flagship Component Training program for its key Champions. The two day event organized on July 14 & 15 in Mumbai. Leading IT brands, Toshiba, Asus, Intel, Western Digital and ADATA showcased their new offerings and also conducted in-depth training session on their latest product portfolio. Rashi also organized a training session on GST to educate Champions on the new tax regime.

The Component training program is a unique initiative by Rashi Peripherals, conducted in association with its strategic vendor partners to educate Champions on the new market opportunities in the Personalized PC segment. Key Champions from across the regions gather under one roof to upgrade their product knowledge and sharpen sales and marketing skills in the knowledge packed training sessions. Around 55 Champions from major cities attended the event and gained insights into latest technological innovations and market conditions.

Businesses across the industry domain are gearing up for the implementation of the recently rolled out Goods and Services Tax (GST). While many IT organizations are still grappling with the new tax regime, Rashi Peripherals was the distribution house to start billing as per the GST norms from July 1 itself. The company has conducted various awareness and training sessions for its partners and Champions. Continuing its training series, Rashi organized an extensive GST training session for the Champions.  Krishna Choudhary, Co-founder & Director at Rashi Peripherals, explained Champions various minute, but crucial components of the new tax regime. He also assured all the required support to Champions in GST compliance.

“Rashi Peripherals is committed to help our Champions and employees sail through the GST transition. We have conducted many training and education programs for our Champions, branch heads and the accounting staff since December. We were the first company to become GST compliant and bill to our partners on July 1, the day of roll out of the long awaited GST tax regime. This is how we are promoting the GST and we will continue to offer our support to our Champions and partners”, said  Choudhary.

Asus also leveraged the platform to educate Champions on their latest technological innovations. During the 6 hour long intense training session held on July 14, Asus representatives addressed various queries of Champions. Champions gave their feedback on the vendor support and also highlighted their challenges on the field in terms of stock availability and support.

Complementing Rashi for its unique initiative,  Vinay Shetty, Regional Head – ASUS Technology Pvt Ltd – India & South Asia, commented, “I thank Rashi Peripherals for organizing a training program on Asus products. It provided us a great platform to interact with the key Rashi Champions. The event was also a good opportunity for us to provide the Champions in-depth knowledge on the Asus product line. Another key participant, Toshiba showcased its cutting edge innovation in the storage space.  Polad Garda, Country Manager, Toshiba India, presented latest solution offerings for its key target vertical such as healthcare, energy etc. Commenting on the event,  Garda said, “The Component training meet is a very innovative and excellent initiative by Rashi Peripherals. It is a great platform to share latest product updates with all Champions, who position our offerings to the end users. The best thing about this Component meet was we were able to interact with over 50 Champions under a one roof and pass on our message to them. Champions appreciated small key points, which can become a crucial factor for us selling products and this really becomes our value add business.”

Garda also outlined Rashi’s contribution to business expansion of Toshiba in India. “Rashi’s pan India presence has helped Toshiba to reach out in across the regions in India. Rashi gives a lot of thrust on education and training for partners and Champions to pass on the latest information on the products and market opportunity to them. This is one kind of value add that comes from Rashi to us. We always appreciate Rashi for their value added initiatives like this Component training program and we always come forward to participate on such kind of events”, Garda added.

Other key vendors, Intel, Western Digital and ADATA also presented their future product roadmap in their in-depth training sessions.

The desktop business is going through a significant transition and the demand for the Personalized PCs is set to propel the demand for Components. Rashi Peripherals is very aggressive to promote Personalized PCs in the Indian enterprise segment. The company enjoys a significant market share in this space and manages the distribution of over 50% of personalized computer handling parts across the country.

As part of its efforts to promote DIY PCS in India, the company rolled out its ambitious 4P initiative in 2015. Rashi’s “Proud to Promote Personalized PC” aims to motivate partners and Champions to promote DIY PCs in the country.

Rajesh Goenka, VP – Sales and Marketing at Rashi Peripherals, outlined the future business potentials in the Personalized PCs segment. In his inspiring session,  Goenka said, “We are very emotional about Personalized PCs and we are very dominant player in this space. Our Component business marked significant growth last year that indeed reflects potentials in this space. The PC business is set to grow in the next three years with more demand for personalized computers. I urge Champions to take this business very seriously and go aggressive in the market. Personalized PC is a very big opportunity for Champions, provided they remain focused on their business. We are committed to promote Personalized PCs and will continue to run programs to sensitize our Champions on this highly potential business segment.

Champions were seen very responsive to vendors’ sessions, which made the day long training program highly interactive and joyous. Encouraged by the speech of  Goenka, Champion from Coimbatore,  L. Satish said, “It was a very useful training with me for personalized P.C. I will try to do double the business in this year.

Commenting on the training session,  Harshul Rihan, Champion from Bhopal said, “We got in depth knowledge of upcoming technology and how and where to pitch the offering. This platform helped us align with the vision of Rashi and identify market prospects.”  The two day event received an overwhelming response from the Champions. Vendors as well as Champions appreciated the Rashi team for the successful execution of the Component training program.
