Receives Ericsson Supplier Award 2016 which recognizes long-standing cooperation with Ericsson on SUSE products and solutions
SUSE has received the Ericsson Supplier Award 2016 for Software Ecosystem Excellence at the recent Ericsson award ceremony. SUSE was recognized for its ability to adapt and integrate its products in complex, multi-vendor environments. The Ericsson Supplier Award 2016 for Software Ecosystem Excellence recognizes the long-standing Ericsson and SUSE partnership involving SUSE Linux products and solutions used in Ericsson’s solutions.
According to Ericsson’s Eva Andrén, “The award is for significant responsiveness and flexibility in meeting Ericsson’s demands, in particular with regards to operating in a multi-vendor environment, resulting in consistent and excellent deliverables.”
Ton Musters, SUSE Vice President, EMEA, said, “Our mission is to provide and support enterprise Linux and open source solutions with exceptional service, value and flexibility. We are very proud that Ericsson, a global SUSE customer, recognized SUSE as their Software Ecosystem Excellence winner for 2016. This confirms that we truly deliver on our mission.”
SUSE develops a wide range of enterprise software solutions based on open source technology. Ericsson is using several of those products in the development of their own solutions.
