Kodak Alaris strengthens its distribution network

The Yatra which kicked off in Colombo in February, entered Thiruvananthapuram on April 15 and will traverse 13 cities in India to expand channel partnerships across the country

With a view to grow and expand its reseller and distributor network in the country, Kodak Alaris, has kicked off the India leg of ‘Alaris Information Management Partnership Yatra 2016’ in Thiruvananthapuram. The Yatra, which commenced in Colombo, Sri Lanka on February 18, 2016, will now travel through multiple cities in India in the coming months. These are Thiruvananthapuram, New Delhi Bangalore, Patna, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Kolkata, Chennai, Lucknow, Jaipur, Chandigarh and Ahmedabad. The meets will be attended by over 500 partners, and serve as a platform to engage and empower partners to grow their businesses collaboratively with Kodak Alaris.

“Our channel partners have helped Kodak Alaris expand its footprint in India, and I would like to thank all of them for their continued support”,said Vivek Naidu, Vice President – Information Management at Kodak Alaris India.

“Partners play a strong frontline role in our business and they are the pivots to our growth. Over the years, through fostering healthy working relationships, we have built a highly successful business model that is mutually beneficial. The main objectives of the ‘Kodak Alaris Information Management Partnership Yatra 2016’ is to cultivate a dedicated set of partners who can propagate and bring a spotlight to our products, business applications, and services. We’re also excited to introduce our brand new channel policy which will ease the way of doing business with Kodak Alaris, thereby making the business more profitable for us as well as our partners. The Yatra which will see members of our global leadership team participate actively, emphasizes our commitment to expand our India market with continued investment and vigour. To this effect, Kodak Alaris has been bringing document scanners to India since 1999, and are now looking at expanding our offerings to cover the entire gamut of Information Management technologies. Our portfolio now encompasses not only hardware products and services, but also software and solutions.”

The Yatra will also seek to enlighten partners, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities with Kodak Alaris’ new range of upcoming products and solutions. Additionally it will also serve as a platform to communicate to its partners about the high-margin post-sales services opportunities, which is fueling rapid growth.

Kodak Alaris’ partnership with Google has further eased the way users can connect with document scanning devices from any type of computing environment by taking advantage of Brillo and Weave, the key pillars of Google’s IoT platform. Also earlier this year, Buyers Lab, LLC (BLI) recognized Kodak Alaris with the 2016 Scanner Line of the Year award for superior performance across its portfolio of document scanners. With multiple BLI Winter Pick Awards—one in each of three key scanner categories: networked, departmental and production, Kodak Alaris holds the most Pick awards out of any scanner manufacturer tested by BLI.
