ESDS Software enables auto scaling cloud with NetApp

Receives USPTO patent for 1st of its kind auto scaling cloud in the global cloud space

ESDS Software Solution, a Managed Cloud and Data Centre service provider, ties up with NetApp to become the preferred partner for storage solutions. The partnership will help ESDS emerge as the preferred choice for Managed Data Centre Services and Auto-Scalable Cloud solutions for its customers.

ESDS, with its primary state-of-the-art, Uptime Certified, Tier 3 Datacenter in Mumbai (Mahape) has its secondary Datacenter located in Nashik. ESDS was looking out for a fully integrated solution that could consistently deliver high performance with low latency and also provide with high capacity that is designed to scale out without disruption. With NetApp’s fully integrated solution that comes with a single management window for the entire setup, ESDS was able to save cost and establish themselves as the early innovator in the global cloud space.

ESDS chose NetApp’s FAS2554 with Flash Pool, Snap Mirror, Flexclone and Snap Restore to be deployed at its Nashik site for Disaster Recovery (DR) Hosting requirement of some large Enterprise customers. It has deployed NetApp’s SAP applications which are known to lower SAP storage and Data Management costs by up to 50 per cent.
