Iris Global on a Diversification high, to help Pandemic commences Distribution of Healthcare Products

Iris Global has decided to help in distribution of Medical Healthcare Products seeing the aggravating Corona Virus Pandemic situation in the country. With an aim of aiding this rapid rise in demands of Healthcare Products, with their mastered skills in logistics, Iris Global has commenced offering Health Care Products.

“The humanitarian value in this sector is immense, at least for the next 2 years”, said Mr Sanjiv Krishen, Founder,CMD, Iris Global.

In this regard the company has signed an agreement with Maharashtra based Suumaya Group for all India Sales Distribution of PPE kits and Healthcare products, he added. He revealed that even this company has diversified to PPE Kits manufacturing using their skills in manufacturing. The company was set up in 1985 as a garment manufacturer and were supplying to various leading brands, including – Ira, Ekka, and Tag 9 with a 1300 dealers network spread across the country.

Talking to newsmen, Mr Krishen said initially they will be confined to – Masks, Gloves, Hand Sanitizers and Personal Protection Equipments (PPE) Kits as this market segment is expect to grow at 40 per cent or more, annually. Mr Krishen said the company anticipates a business to the tune of around Rs 1,000 Crore in these products over the next two years.

He further disclosed that because of Iris Global’s vast dealer network spread all over the country they have been contacted to further diversify into the some of the core medical equipment that includes Ventilators and Digital X-ray machines.

Iris Global has also tied up with a Hyderabad based Ventilator manufacturer who sells under the brand name of Apollo. Their promoter has experience of working with Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) previously.

Iris Global have already supplied orders from a Bangalore based Hospital for Digital X-ray machines and Ventilators to another at Chennai. These X-ray machines are advanced ones as they do not require any Plate or Film. The X-Ray results can directly be visible on coloured Monitor Screens. In case one requires a hard copy, a print out can be obtained.

“The business generated from these two highly important medical equipment were expected to further boost the company’s turnover and reach” Mr Krishen added.
