Tech Data announced a significant expansion of its long‑standing global partnership with Equinix, positioning the distributor as Equinix’s primary distribution partner in India. The collaboration is designed to accelerate the delivery of AI‑ready, high‑performance, and energy‑efficient digital infrastructure to support India’s fast‑growing hybrid multi‑cloud and data‑intensive workloads.
The partnership brings together Tech Data’s extensive partner ecosystem and technical expertise with Equinix’s globally interconnected digital infrastructure spanning more than 270 data centers across 77 metros worldwide. Through this alliance, Indian partners will gain simplified access to Equinix Fabric®, a software‑defined interconnection service enabling low‑latency, private connectivity to global and local cloud providers, network operators, digital ecosystems, and strategic business partners.

Tech Data will support partners throughout the full lifecycle from solution design and sales enablement to demand generation and integration with complementary cloud, infrastructure, and cybersecurity technologies. This enables partners to build holistic offerings around hybrid multi‑cloud connectivity, AI platforms, edge deployments, and sustainable data center modernization.
