HPE doubles data center switch performance and expands wired and wireless offerings for intelligent, high-performance connectivity
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has expanded its HPE Aruba Networking portfolio with a new generation of distributed services switches and Wi-Fi 7 capabilities, designed to meet the rising connectivity demands of AI, IoT, and high-performance computing.
At the heart of the announcement is the HPE Aruba Networking CX 10040, a powerful upgrade to its widely deployed CX 10000 series. Powered by AMD Pensando’s programmable DPUs, the switch offloads security and networking functions to free up resources for complex AI workloads. This results in twice the performance and scale at a fraction of the cost of legacy solutions.

In addition, HPE introduced four new CX 6300M campus switches optimized for enterprise IoT and real-time data delivery, and a new line of Wi-Fi 7 access points (720, 740, and 760 Series) designed for both indoor and industrial environments. These APs feature dynamic application prioritization—a critical feature for AI-driven applications.
