Although it is the compendium of technologies, but for the users (hotel) it is a managed service. Based on a BOOT model, all the CAPEX will be taken care of by Elitecore. The vendor (Elitecore) will engage its partners to map and integrate the end to end solution at the customers’ premise. Towards this, Elitecore will handpick its partners having domain knowledge on hospitality sector and empower them on various platforms.
It’s a win-win situation for both the partners and the customers because the customers (hotels, cafes or hotspots property owners) need not have to invest anything. They will only pay for the service offered to them. Similarly, the partners are also not asked for to invest on anything new. They can use their existing team to manage the entire activities.
As the beta testing is taking place is various select hotels, the pricing for the service has not yet been quite clear. However, from the company sources, it will be around Rs.200 for one hour of surfing in a decent property, which is much less than what is the current offered in the hotels. And out of that pricing the margin of the partners and the property owners is quite healthy.
As strategy, the guests at the reception (if it is a hotel) will buy a token having user ID and pass word at a defined price for a defined hour and can log into the system securely.
Elitecore is targeting the existing and upcoming hotels and hotspots through its existing channel base in India. The company is planning to increase the number of channel partners having strong technical knowledge of market to provide value added solution to their clients across the hospitality vertical.
